SABER’s Mission Statement SABER’s mission is to improve the economy of the Shamokin area, including the surrounding communities, to promote and endorse those businesses in our community, to encourage the retention and growth of our existing businesses, and, as well, to attract new, sustainable businesses. While fostering a business friendly environment, SABER will work to enrich the life of the community and improve the appearance, spirit, and pride of the community. SABER will honor, preserve, and celebrate our historic past while we strive to achieve a vision of our community as a more desirable place to live and as a destination to work, shop, eat, and gather.
