Shamokin Community Gardens and Pocket Parks is dedicated to helping Shamokin become Clean, Green and Healthy! We care for two existing community gardens/pocket parks, plant and maintain the Market Street Park Plots, plant and maintain the area around the Hiker Monument. We have added two community gardens/pocket parks - one in progress on Sunbury Street and the second completed area in the Fifth Ward! These were done utilizing grant funds with no cost to the city!
